Metal Deburring & Wire-Drawing Machine

A single production line that removes weld slag and sharp burrs, then finishes the surface -- matte, brushed, or mirror -- so a cut or welded plate never has to touch a bench grinder.

PCL metal deburring and wire-drawing machine with automatic conveyor feed, integrated control panel, robust motor system, and precise thickness adjustment

What Is a Deburring & Wire-Drawing Machine, and How Does It Work?

A plate straight off a laser, plasma cutter, or welder still carries slag, oxidation, and sharp edges. This machine feeds that plate through a train of abrasive heads that deburr, then finish, both faces and both edges in one continuous pass -- replacing a hand-grinding step that is slow and inconsistent between operators.

01 / MECHANISM

Dual-Side Abrasive Heads

Upper and lower head assemblies work simultaneously, so a plate only travels through once to have burrs removed from both faces and both cut edges -- not two separate passes.

02 / CONTROL

Digital Panel, Recipe Storage

Feed speed and head pressure are set from a touchscreen panel, not manual dials -- and can be saved as a recipe so a repeat job doesn't mean re-deriving settings from scratch.

03 / THROUGHPUT

Continuous Conveyor Feed

A variable-speed conveyor synchronizes plate travel with head rotation speed, holding a consistent finish across plates of varying length and thickness through multi-shift production.

One Line, Four Finish Types

Abrasive head and belt selection determines the outcome -- a shop running mixed orders doesn't need four separate machines to hit four different finish specs.

Configuration & Customization

Rather than forcing a fixed-width machine into your line, width is specified anywhere from a compact 200mm bench unit up to a 1800mm production model, and the electrical system is built for 110V, 220V, or 380V supply as standard.

  • Working width: 200mm – 1800mm, specified at order
  • Voltage: 110V / 220V / 380V, matched to your site supply
  • Cabinet color and control-panel branding customizable for private-label buyers
  • 2 to 4 abrasive-head stations depending on finish requirement

Materials & Thickness Range

Carbon Steel0.5mm – 25mm
Stainless Steel0.5mm – 20mm
Aluminum0.8mm – 16mm

Simple Enough for a New Operator

Four steps from power-on to finished plate -- no specialized training program required to run day-to-day production.

Four-step operating sequence: connect power, set parameters on digital panel, feed plate, collect finished product

Model Comparison & Specifications

Five standard working widths cover everything from a compact bench-height unit to a full production-line model -- intermediate and larger widths up to 1800mm are available as custom orders. All figures below are factory-tested values for the standard configuration.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between deburring and wire-drawing on this machine?

Deburring removes the sharp edge and slag left by cutting or welding. Wire-drawing (brushing) is a separate finishing pass that creates the fine parallel-line texture common on visible stainless steel surfaces. The same line does both -- which pass runs depends on the abrasive head selected for that job.

Can one machine really produce mirror, matte, and brushed finishes?

Yes, by changing the abrasive head and belt grit progression. A shop running mixed orders switches configuration between jobs rather than owning four dedicated single-purpose machines.

What width should I order if my plates vary in size?

Order for your largest common plate width, not your absolute maximum -- an oversized machine adds cost and floor space without adding capability for work you rarely run. Tell us your typical size range and we'll recommend a working width.

Does the machine need a dust collection system?

Dust and swarf extraction is integrated into the machine and connects to your shop's existing vacuum system -- it does not include its own standalone dust collector.

Can the control panel be branded for our company?

Yes -- cabinet color and control-panel logo/branding are customizable for private-label and OEM buyers at order time.

What voltage do I need on site?

The machine is built for 110V, 220V, or 380V supply as standard -- tell us your site's actual supply voltage when ordering so the correct electrical configuration ships with the unit.
